The Challenge
To relocate the business to a new fully operational warehouse over the build up to Christmas 2012. Condensing two existing warehouses into one new building.
This was a massive project for EGR – their largest for many years, they needed to move over a selected time period and had tight deadlines which had to be met, ready to move in at the start of 2013.
The Solution
This was a long term project with numerous meetings between STS storage systems, the chosen fork lift company and the client to create a design which matched the storage criteria required. The final outcome has not only housed their requirements but has also been built in such a way that we can extend the racks to meet the customers expansion plans in future years.
STS storage systems managed to finish early and also designed and fitted a bespoke barrier to protect the drain down pipe which was a concern for the customer.
This was a complete project for STS storage systems where we supplied pallet racking, timber decks, rack signage, bar coded Locations labels, rack end protection barriers and line marked walkways.

Pallet Racking
Varying frame depths to from 900mm to 1500mm.
