MCP Engineering – Pallet Racking and Mezzanine Floor Bishop’s Stortford
MCP Engineering Plastics engaged STS Storage Systems to design and install a bespoke mezzanine floor and pallet racking system in their new 11,100 sq ft warehouse at Bishop’s Stortford — enabling the efficient storage of heavy-hand-loaded components and bulk materials in a high-clear height facility.
Mezzanine Floor and Pallet Racking Installation for FreightMinds
Freightminds contacted STS Storage Systems to supply and install a mezzanine floor, pallet racking and mesh partitioning in their new warehouse unit next to Heathrow Airport. The intention was to create a number of secure storage areas for clients’ high‑value musical instruments and sound equipment.
Logistics Centre Racking Solution Designed for Asco Foods’ Expansion
To support Asco Foods’ rapid growth, STS Storage Systems designed and installed a bespoke warehouse solution at their new Thame distribution centre. In partnership with AR Racking, STS delivered a high-rise adjustable pallet racking system for both ambient and chilled storage, creating over 5,500 pallet positions and enabling Asco Foods to scale efficiently.
Mezzanine Floor and Office Fit-Out for Muscleworks.
Muscleworks approached STS Storage Systems to install a mezzanine floor in the Boxing Training Area of their East London gym. The goal was to create a dedicated space to showcase Muscleworks branded clothing line and build an office for his assistant, all while working around the existing boxing ring. The key challenge was constructing the mezzanine floor without disrupting the boxing ring and ensuring the walkway alongside it remained accessible for use by gym members
Warehouse Storage for OPX /SHIPBOB New Fulfilment Warehouse.
Having worked successfully on their previous new warehouse and logistics facility in Swindon, OPX approached STS Storage Systems again for a new fulfilment operation on the same industrial estate as their current HQ. This time OPX were teaming up with Shipbob, a US based organisation with a Global 3PL and fulfilment operation working within the B2B, retail and online sectors.
Grant UK – Warehouse and Storage Solutions
To consolidate operations, Grant UK partnered with STS Storage Systems to transform their new 80,000 sq ft Swindon headquarters. In collaboration with Kerr Office Group, STS designed and installed a Very Narrow Aisle pallet racking system with zones for oversized items and hand-pick stock. The project delivered 400+ racking bays, 6,100 pallet spaces, guided VNA truck aisles, and a multi-level longspan pick system. The result is a high-capacity warehouse that maximises space, improves efficiency, and supports Grant UK’s growth.
London Underground Acton Depot – Warehouse Storage Solutions
As the main supplier of storage solutions for TFL, STS were contacted back in 2019 to start to look at some designs for existing areas and warehouses on the Acton site that could accommodate the extra parts needed to be stored on-site for the CLIP Project.
We initially looked at upgrading the pallet racking in one depot, then another depot released some space in the Despatch Warehouse for new pallet racking to house the variety of pallets and stillages that needed to be stored at Acton.
