The STS Storage Systems health and safety process covers the following areas:
– We ensure the installation team follow best working practise i.e any work undertaken at a height will require a scissor lift or harnesses and if there is transportation of heavy materials we ensure the right truck is provided to offload and assist with the build.
– All STS Storage Systems installation staff wear safety clothing including high visibility jackets, safety shoes and any other PPE necessary to specific site regulations.
– Clients and installation teams are provided with risk and method statements – this ensures the safe working practise for the job in-hand.
– Client side health and safety workshops are sometimes provided, making sure our installation teams are aware of the businesses health and safety process.
– On completion of the job, we make sure the installation team is signed off by the client. This ensures that the client is happy with the full job including safety.
– On certain projects a project engineer will visit the site post installation in line with our customer satisfaction strategy.
