UK Bio Centre‘s facility will be receiving delivery of 100,000 test tubes of blood samples every three days, testing for Coronavirus. The pallet racking is key in helping to increase their storage capacity.
Social distancing was always adhered to whilst onsite, the project was given special sanctions due to the importance of the role Uk Bio Centre is playing in managing COVID-19.
GSK. Are responding to COVID-19 by collaborating with Sanofi to develop an adjuvanted COVID-19 vaccine, their commitment to access and investment in long-term pandemic preparedness. With the two companies combining their knowledge and innovative technologies to develop an adjuvanted COVID-19 vaccine, clinical trials are expected to begin in the second half of 2020. We are currently on-site undertaking repairs.
FareShare is providing a full national operation to get food to vulnerable people during the COVID-19 crisis. Footballer Marcus Rashford is supporting their cause to help provide meals to children who rely on free school meals. We undertook a project to replace all of FareShare’s current existing racking with all new pallet racking to meet their requirements for many years to come.

Intersurgical is working tirelessly with other industry professionals to create 20,000 more ventilators in the UK. These are designed to help patients with respiratory problems to breathe easier. STS Storage installed a huge pallet racking system last year to help increase their storage capacity and we were on site recently installing safety barriers to ensure pedestrian safety.
