Increasing Capacity with Storage Solutions: Kelly’s Storage, Guilford
Working with Kelly’s, STS Storage Systems, helped to increase the capacity of document storage boxes in line with the successful tender of a new contract. Having had the warehouse installed with mobile bases in preparation for future growth,we were brought in to compete with the incumbent supplier to offer a more cost effective solution and at the same time increase the box count.
Cadogan Tate
We were employed by Cadogan Tate to turn a warehouse full of large storage containers into an area suitable to securely hold precious items of furniture, art and associated valuables. With a warehouse boasting a volume of 13,000 m2 it was imperative to maximise the volume for Cadogan Tate’s clients.
Hillaldam Coburn
STS Storage Systems helped Hillaldam Coburn to relocate their business to a new fully operational 22,000 sq ft warehouse and office facility within a 5 week period. Time-scales for this project were essential as a dilapidation date had been set on their existing property.
Dovetail
(part of the BBC and Dennis Publishing Group)
Dovetail contacted STS Storage Systems to help them find a suitable premises around their current location in the Medway Kent area, helping them to bring together facilities in Bristol & Sittingbourne. Their new warehouse storage solution is built around our storage CAD design.
EGR Automotive
EGR Automotive approached STS Storage Systems to help them relocate their business to a new fully operational warehouse, the challenge involved condensing two warehouse storage units into this one new fully operational building.
Wurth
STS Storage Systems successfully builds UK’s First Multi Level Pallet Picking System (MLPP) for Wurth. Wurth UK needed to consolidate two UK depots into one without going to the expense and upheaval of a new UK distribution centre. The challenge was to build a facility at the current headquarters to increase both bulk and hand pick facilities, allowing free auto- mated movement around the whole of its large facility.
Farécla
Founded in 1952, Farécla is a world-class manufacturer and supplier of surface finishing solutions to over 120 countries worldwide. Faréclas experience and continued investment in research and development helps them to provide customers with the fastest way to the finest finish. Due to new levels of turnover STS Storage Systems were called in to assist with a new design and install of a mezzanine floor within an existing warehouse storage facility.
Celestron
The challenge was to help Celestron start up a brand new warehouse facility to service their European distributors. Starting the operation from scratch meant a new warehouse facility needed to be designed to serve their European clients. We were invited to tender alongside some notable manufacturers in the industry. STS were consulted from the off on the layout, flow and current capacity plus likely future growth.
Meantime Brewery
Our mission was to work closely with the Meantime Brewery project managers to build a level mezzanine on a sloping floor, which was necessary for liquid drainage. A complex project based around bottles and keg filling lines and critical timelines.
International Copiers
Due to the phenomenal growth of the business International Copiers needed to create more space in a new warehouse that they had secured for holding stock, due to the available space above we were able to build a 27,000 sq ft two tier mezzanine floor. A challenging project as the outgoing tenant was still occupying the building meaning the area was full of stock and pallet racking.
